1. Who We Are
संवाद सारांश (Samvaad Saransh) is a mobile application published by Chashguru Technologies. This policy explains what data the app collects, how it is processed and how long it is kept.
2. Information We Collect
We collect your mobile number for OTP-based sign in, the contact details extracted from visiting cards you scan, audio recordings of meetings you choose to record, and the transcripts and summaries generated from them. We do not read your phone's address book unless you explicitly sync a contact to it.
3. Audio Recordings
Meeting audio is recorded only when you tap record. Recordings are processed to produce a transcript, summary and action items, and are automatically deleted from our systems after 30 days. Transcripts and summaries remain in your account until you delete them.
4. AI Processing and Sub-processors
Card images, audio and text are processed through Cloudflare infrastructure and OpenAI models solely to deliver the app's features. These sub-processors are contractually bound not to use your content to train general-purpose models.
5. Consent Before Recording
You are responsible for informing and obtaining consent from all participants before recording any conversation, as required by applicable law in your jurisdiction.
6. Data Sharing
We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising. We share data only with the processors named above, or where required by valid legal process.
7. Your Rights
You may access, correct, export or delete your data at any time from within the app, or by writing to us. Deleting your account removes your contacts, recordings, transcripts and summaries.
8. Security
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access to production systems is restricted and audited.
9. Governing Law
This policy is governed by Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act).
